The second instalment of our Koigu Collector Colour series inspired by the magical world of mushrooms is here this month: HOOF MUSHROOM.
Hoof mushrooms are often compared to the hooves of horses due to their shape and often grow on the trunks of trees. What we are most excited by is their colour. Hoof mushrooms range from beige, to almost black and sometimes get bright stripes of colour like this one!
In KPPPM fingering weight, this variegated colourway is a beautiful mix of vibrant yet natural jewel tones of blue, green and gold. I can imagine an amazing summer tank top or sun hat made out of it!
