We are vey excited for the next few months of Collector Clubs, as the inspiration photos are beautiful and we are adding something different! This month we have the regular Koigu KPPPM Collector Colour as well as a new Emmi Collector Colour.
Koigu Emmi is our luxury dk weight yarn, breakdown being 75% merino and 25% cashmere. Each skein is 50g/130yds/118m. Its beautifully buttery, while also being great for everyday projects and outfits! Each dyelot is handdyed by Taiu making no two exactly the same.
Rainbow Mountain
This months KPPPM colour is inspired by Rainbow Mountain. This remote mountain, recently popularized by its beautiful colour composition is located in the Andes of Peru. The colouring occurs due to mineral deposits which were only recently exposed from the melting of glaciers, as a result of global warming. Not only is this mountain a beautiful demonstration of nature, it is also an excellent reminder of the relevance of global warming, giving you a chance to reflect on changes you can make in your life. One more reason why this mountain stood out to us to add to our bucket list, IT HAS ALPACAS.

Laguna Colorada
For the next three months we’ve added another yarn to our collector colour club, Koigu Emmi. This months colour is Laguna Colorada, the red lagoon, which is located in Bolivia. There are many reasons to be enamoured by this lagoon, but we especially love it as it reminds us of one of our favourite places to visit in Canada, PEI. Moreover, the colour composition is very fascinating as there is a mixture of both red and white sand, with a backdrop of the blue mountain range. Making for a beautiful landscape to draw from for inspiration. Oh also.. FLAMINGOS.
