Koigu Tent Sale Survival Guide: Part 2

Having finished two days of the tent sale, and with two more to go, we thought we’d answer those last minute questions we’ve been receiving… as well as tease what is still to come!

First, yes there will be an online tent sale, starting Wednesday August 24. While we would much rather welcome you to the farm in person we will do our best to recreate the sale online. Second, we will have substantial parking available on the lawn, however if you are coming with a large camper, we do recommend parking on the side road just across from the driveway. Finally, we welcome those interested in picnicking by the pond, bring your blankets and your snacks for after you’re done shopping.

Now onto what everyone wants to know… what will be available at the tent sale.

The best selection will be of Kersti and KPPPM yarns. Many skeins will be from broken down dyelots, as well as colours which are no longer dyed that way.

*** Look out for 999’s which are colours that can never be repeated.

There will have Koigu Sparkle, Lace, Mori and Emmi in limited quantities.

We will also have our thicker weighted yarns Chelsea and Othello. As well as a small amount of our discontinued Bulky yarn.

We will of course have many colour offerings in our Koigu Origins yarns, including Masham, Aura, Loopy, Corriedale, Cheers and Corriedale+Gotland.

Lastly, the tent sale has an assortment of roving, coned yarns, pattern books as well as Koigu notions and merchandise.

One of the best parts of getting to be at the tent sale in person is our showroom filled with knit and crochet garments. Where one can try on endless sweaters, shawls and more before deciding which projects you’d like to buy yarn for.
